CoQ10 is the electron-transport-chain coenzyme that mitochondrial energy production runs through. Endogenous production declines with age; statin therapy can further reduce levels (statins inhibit the same HMG-CoA pathway). We use the ubiquinol form — the active reduced form — for higher bioavailability in people over 35.
K2 MK-7 directs calcium to bone and away from arterial intima. Bergamot polyphenols are the Italian-citrus fraction with several human RCTs on lipid markers (the standardized BPF extract used in the published trials).
