Scientist running HPLC assay on a Meridian supplement batch

Standard 01 — Testing

Every batch tested. Every ingredient sourced.

Each lot goes through a third-party ISO 17025 lab for identity, potency, heavy metals, microbials, and label-claim verification. Certificates of analysis published on every product page — searchable by the batch number on the bottle.

Standard 03 — FAQ

Lab & testing questions.

01What testing happens on every batch?
Identity (does this match the ingredient we ordered), potency (does the dose match the label), heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic), microbials (yeast, mold, salmonella, E. coli), and label-claim verification. Performance line also gets WADA banned-substance screening.
02Who does the testing?
An independent ISO 17025-accredited lab in Salt Lake City. Same lab used by several Fortune-500 nutrition companies. We don’t use in-house testing because in-house testing isn’t third-party.
03What if a batch fails a test?
It doesn’t leave the warehouse. Failed batches are destroyed and the lot is re-formulated from new raw ingredient. No re-test until it passes. Failures are documented in our internal QA log; if we ever shipped a failed lot accidentally, we’d recall and post the failure publicly.
04Why publish COAs at all?
Because the entire supplement industry has a transparency problem, and the only way to fix it is for brands to actually be transparent. Customers deserve to see what’s in the bottle they paid for.
05Where can I find the COA for my batch?
On the product page — there’s a COA search box. Enter the lot number printed near the cap and you’ll get the full lab report for your specific batch. If you can’t find it, email support@meridian.example with the lot number.
