Collection · Targeted Support
Immune defense, gut and digestive, cognitive and adaptogenic, heart and cardiovascular, hormonal balance. Targeted protocols layered on top of a Daily Essentials baseline.
A letter from the formulator
Targeted Support is the category I spend the most time talking customers OUT of, because the people who come to it usually haven't dialed in the foundation yet. Daily Essentials first. Sleep dialed in. Training and protein established. Then we can have a useful conversation about a targeted protocol on top.
When the foundation is in place, targeted formulas address specific systems with mechanism-of-action discipline. Immune Defense layers four different inputs that operate on different parts of the immune cascade — Wellmune beta-glucan (innate priming with 13+ human RCTs), elderberry (anthocyanin-rich, cleanest cold-and-flu trial data), Quali-C ascorbic acid, and zinc bisglycinate. Not the standard zinc-and-C reskin every brand sells.
Gut Restore is the probiotic I formulated to actually arrive alive. Refrigeration-stable formulation, DRcaps acid-resistant delivery, and six strain-level-identified probiotics with published data — Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12, Saccharomyces boulardii. Not generic 'lactobacillus blend' theater. Strain-level identification matters.
Cognitive Support is the adaptogenic stack for non-stimulant cognitive load — KSM-66 ashwagandha, Erinacines-standardized Lion's Mane, Bacognize Bacopa. The Cardiovascular Stack pairs ubiquinol CoQ10 with bergamot polyphenols and K2 MK-7 for the cardiac-foundation profile. The Hormonal Balance formula uses DIM, Vitex, and KSM-66 for structure/function support across life-stage hormonal transitions — not a treatment, a baseline support.
What I want customers to understand: a targeted formula is not a substitute for the diagnostic process. If you have a specific health concern, bloodwork and a clinician's evaluation come first. These formulas support the systems they name within the limits of structure/function claim language. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

How to stack these
Don't add a targeted formula on top of a missing foundation. D3+K2, omega-3, magnesium. Most of the symptoms people reach for targeted support to address improve when the foundation is in place — and the targeted formulas work substantially better against a corrected baseline.
Adding three targeted formulas simultaneously makes it impossible to attribute what's working. Pick the one closest to your current goal. Run it for 8-12 weeks. Reassess.
Standard adaptogen practice is to cycle off for one week every 12 weeks. KSM-66, Lion's Mane, and Bacopa are well-tolerated continuously, but the cycle keeps receptor sensitivity and gives you a baseline reference point.
For the Cardiovascular Stack: lipid panel, hsCRP, omega-3 index at baseline and at 12 weeks. For Hormonal Balance: appropriate hormone panel with a clinician's interpretation. For Immune Defense: this is preventive support, not diagnostic; track frequency and duration of infections through cold-and-flu season.
Mechanism FAQ
We recommend October through April for most people, with optional travel-week protocols any time of year. The Wellmune beta-glucan effect is durable with continued use; the acute zinc dosing is most relevant during higher-exposure periods.
CFU count without strain-level identification is theater. We use six strains with published efficacy at the doses listed (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, BB-12, S. boulardii, three others) — that's where the clinical evidence lives. A 100B unlabeled blend is mostly the cheapest two strains the contract manufacturer had in inventory.
We avoid the term 'nootropic' because it's used loosely and crosses into structure/function-claim territory. The formula contains adaptogens (KSM-66 ashwagandha, Lion's Mane, Bacopa) that have published research on stress-axis modulation and cognitive function. Effects are gradual, accumulative, and require 4-6 weeks of consistent use.
The CoQ10 ubiquinol pairing with statin therapy is well-documented in the literature — statins inhibit the HMG-CoA pathway that the body uses to produce endogenous CoQ10, and supplementing replaces what's depleted. The bergamot and K2 should be discussed with your cardiologist, especially if you're on warfarin (K2 affects coagulation).
Hormonal Balance is NOT for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and should be discussed with your prescribing clinician if you're on hormonal contraception, HRT, or thyroid medication. The DIM and Vitex have plausible interactions. This is the formula in our line we most strongly recommend a clinician's input on.
We don't make them, and we're not going to. The 'organ-support' category is the one in our space with the loosest claim discipline and the weakest mechanism evidence. If you have concerns about a specific system, that's a conversation for your physician — not a supplement decision.
Targeted formulas accumulate. Cognitive Support: 4-6 weeks. Cardiovascular Stack: 12 weeks (bloodwork). Hormonal Balance: 8-12 weeks (2-3 cycles). Immune Defense: this is preventive — measured by the cold you didn't get, which is the hardest thing to feel in real time.
