Daily Essentials
All eight B-vitamins in their bioactive, methylated forms. For MTHFR variants and high-energy-demand profiles.
Key actives per serving
The formula brief
B-vitamins are cofactors in mitochondrial energy metabolism — every molecule of ATP your cells produce passes through a B-vitamin-dependent enzyme. Cheap multis use the inactive forms (cyanocobalamin, folic acid) that require liver conversion. The active forms (methylcobalamin, methylfolate) skip that step entirely.
Roughly 40% of the US population carries an MTHFR gene variant that reduces methylfolate conversion efficiency by 30-70%. For these individuals, supplementing with folic acid actually accumulates unmetabolized folic acid in serum without raising functional methylfolate. The active forms bypass this entirely.
One capsule with breakfast covers it. Don't take this at night — for most people the B-complex is mildly stimulating.

01 · The protocol
02 · Why this form
Folic acid is a synthetic compound that requires liver conversion to functional methylfolate via DHFR and MTHFR enzymes. ~40% of the population has reduced MTHFR activity. L-5-MTHF skips both enzymatic steps.
